Hello from Las Vegas!

Today I picked up a new CW9 at the New Frontier Armory (highly recommended for all you locals), and Amazon delivered an inside waistband holster. I have to work some long hours the next few days, so I won't be able to shoot it until later in the week, and there's 1000rds in an ammocan just waiting. I bought this for CC, and although I already have a Taurus 85 in Titanium, having 8 rounds of 9mm vs. 5 of .38 seems to make more sense.

I also have a couple .45's, but the cost of ammo is driving me to the 9mm world. My GF has a Glock 26, but that's her gun, so after getting some recommendations from another internet site, (not primarily weapons related), I went to the local range and rented a Kahr PM9. After the first couple magazines, I had no problem staying in the 0 and 1 ring at 15 yards. I'm hoping to get even better with this CW after a few hundred fires.

BTW, if any of you visit Las Vegas, our county has a brand new shooting park including a 50x 50yard + 20 x 200 yard range, full trap and skeet, archery, RV hook ups etc.. The cost to use the pistol/rifle range is $7! I don't shoot clays, or archery so I don't know what those fees are, sorry.

Anyway, that's my intro. This looks to be a nice informative site.

Enjoy your new CW. We'll be looking for that range report from you. As an experienced shooter, we'd be interested in your impressions and results.

Which holster did you select?

Good luck with the new weapon. Th CW is a fine gun, mine is very accurate and easy to carry. Have a blast!

Was just in Vegas a few weeks ago and went to the new range. I was with my buddy who is a LEO and we both felt it was the nicest range either of us have ever been to!! Went with our kids (4) they shoot free and we spent $21 for the day including targets and some ear protection. :yo:
Tip of the hat to Clark county for such a awesome facility!!!!
