I received my new CW45 last Friday from Gallery of Guns and couldn't be happier. Fit and finish are top notch! Broke it down, cleaned and lubed all the lubrication points and walked out back to the arroyo (for those that don't live out West, that's a ditch:cool:). Put 50 rounds of Winchester White Box 230 FMJ through without a hiccup. The two things that really stood out to me were lack of recoil and the ultra smooth trigger. The recoil is more like one of my 9mm's and the trigger is as smooth as butter. Now I think it's time for something in 40 cal. On a side note, if you buy a firearm through Gallery of Guns they provide a lifetime warranty on every firearm they sell so my "Value Line" CW45 carries the same guarantee as the "Premium Line".

We could use more of them arroyo's in Washington. Maybe one behind my house would be good.

Nice to read about a 45 and that it worked well for you. I'm a bit burned out on mouse guns lately.

My P40 has proven to be an excellent pistol for me. Check it our when you start looking at .40's.

I love my cw45. I shoot it as well as anything I have. Good to hear you like yours.

FYI, ACTMAG 7 round 1911 officers mags work well and provide an extra round.

My wife and I both have CW-45 and they work just fine and are shootin' rascals.
