I find it hard to say "Happy" Memorial due to what this day really means, so I'll just say I wish all the best on this very important day.

You can be happy we are still free to have a memorial holiday.

Sad day for another reason, at least to me. I live very near Fredericksburg, VA, site of an enormous amount of Civil War activity. Can't drive a mile on any road without seeing some sign or plaque commemorating something from then. Saw a news report of a group of Boy Scouts placing flags on the graves of Union soldiers. Now that's fine, but a quarter mile away is a separate Confederate cemetery. No mention of those men being remembered. This country is losing it's way for the sake of P.C. nimrods.

Yep, they seem to be in a forget history mode or something. Tearing down those confederate memorials just chaffed my back side.

Wish I could put them all in my front yard.

The were confederates but they were Americans and the civil war wasn't even solely about slavery.

Hopefully the south won't have to rise again after the swamp is drained. Which is basically what they were after in the first place.

I was flying my Come and Take it Flag today, does that make me a bad person?

I fly My American Flag 24/7 (Illuminated) I have a Yardam (allows 2 additional Flags to display)
I enjoy changing out the other 2 for patriotic holidays it's usually the Grand Union Flag (google it) an 8Th Army Air Corp or my 1st Cav flag.
I also use Revolutionary war (Battle)flags and Civil war (Battle)flags and my vivid Gadsen Flag on a Black background.
I live on the water in a high wind area when we have a pending storm, all flags come down as I don't want them ruined....
