So this is what Kahr owners wanted, according to "The Firearm Guy." I didn't know we wanted a rail, forward serrations, and a rectangular serial number plate riveted to the side of the grip.

KahrTalk will need an "S" subforum!

I could do without the rail and hate the serial number on the grip. I like the forward serrations and the engraving for the model and company name.
That's kind of stylish.
But nobody asked me.

I've complained on here about the grip texture, so if the would change that I'd be interested. The rollmark is a step up.
Something I noticed is the design of the mag release. It looks like it would be possible to make it Southpaw friendly, but they'd have to put a cutout on the other side of their mags for that.
The serial number plate on the grip isn't a dealbreaker, as my CW380s already have that - minus the increased size that the QR code adds. Probably something only useful to Kahr...

So it looks like Kahr invested $$ in molds for P and TP sized Gen 2 pistols, and when they decided not to introduce them, they cobbled together the S series so they didn't waste money.
I understand it and the engraving looks better than laser etching, but I was looking forward to the Gen 2 trigger.
