I have 2 holsters for my PM9 right now. A Comp-tac MTAC and a Galco walkabout (with the magazine holder attached). Also ordered a minituck that's on the way.
I'm looking for a Summer Special type holster for the PM9. I've seen what Milt Sparks has to offer (and love it) but I'm looking to get my hands on something soon in the mean time. Suggestions?

Check out the Don Hume JIT. Good quality, reasonably priced, comfortable. Love mine.

Minituck: See the FAQ's and see if you can get the 10% discount and apply it toward the horsehide. Discount for current NRA members, any military, and LEO.
I bought one for my P380 at least 6 months before the gun was built and got the regular, saving some money... should have gotten the horsehide... I did for the PM9/PM45/K9 holster. I wear it at ~4:30.

This is a "stocking" item, meaning that you don't have to wait while they manufacture it:

Horsehide vs Cowhide...
I hear cowhide is softer. And horsehide is more tough and sweat resistant. I don't sweat much at all, even in the 100+ heat, and I work inside. So I went with cowhide so I could get the minituck in black. Any reason to call them and change the order?

I ordered my Minituck in black cowhide as well. I don't sweat much either, and here in Ohio we have very few +90 degree days. The added cost didn't matter to me, but I preferred the softer of the 2, so that it would conform faster, and I also preferred the black over the natural finish.
I've bought several holsters for the PM9, and I'm hoping the Minituck will be my last. (So is my wife, lol.)

I sweat thinking about sweating and the range I use is like a sauna... no A/C. I don't wear a Minituck there. I wear an Uncle Mike and take it off after I get inside the sauna.:)
I don't know about softer, but the cowhide is thinner and more flexible than the horsehide, and there's no color choice... Cowhide black and horsehide natural.

Looks like you favor the leather holsters, but have you considered Kydex with leather lining? I like my Silent Thunder and it deals with heat very well and the body shield feels comfortable and cool on bare skin. Whenever I put leather against my skin it sweats and itches really irritating the skin. Look at the pics in the links with my signature as another option.

I’ve been really happy with my Don Hume IWB clip holster for the PM9. Call me cheap, but for $30 I dont think you can go wrong and I got more than I expected. The leather looks good, performs well and the metal clip is strong. High Noon has the "Bare Asset" for a few bucks less, but I chose the Don Hume. I’ll throw in another vote for the Crossbreed mini Tuck (horse) for those times the shirt can’t come out. The PM9 becomes invisible so comfortable that I’ll wear it whether I tuck the shirt or not.

If you want a "summer special" style holster, check out these on Amazon:
Available in Black or Brown (http://tinyurl.com/2ekpzsr)
Don't really know anything about them, but they aren't expensive, so may be worth looking at.
