I had originally took a PM9 striker spring and put it in my CW380. Greg pointed out to me that with the more powerful spring that the slide would retract when I pulled the trigger......and it did. I did not have any washers that fit the striker assembly properly and it was midnight and the stores were closed. So I did this:
I took a .22 casing and cut the brass off to about 1/8 inch in length. I drilled the base with a 1/8 inch drill bit and took a round Grobet file to enlarge the hole to about 9/64. I was more concerned in polishing the inside of the brass as to not damage the plastic recoil rod.
I am going to the range today to try it out. The trigger pull is still smooth and is harder than before.
