Santa is bringing the boy one of those tree cutters for Christmas. I think it will make a hell of a truck gun.

I think it would be one heck of a good truck gun. I know Hickok is extremely fond of them.

I'm fighting the urge myself, I have a Mossberg 500 but that little tree cutter package is pretty sweet.

I've owned three Mossberg 500s over the years. Sold off or given away all three. Rem 870s forever!

Since 80 acres of pines and oaks were taken down behind my property, we are skipping having a tree this year. Enough of them getting cut down from big ag. I'll hang a couple ornaments on the pines out in front of the house. We don't really celebrate Xmas in the literal sense. To me, Xmas was always a religious holiday, and for true believers, a chance to get together with family and have something special to celebrate. It has become so materialistic that the true meaning is being left behind. If your not a true believer, your kind of a hypocrite for celebrating Xmas. The trees and people's lights were always my favorite part. If you are a believer, have a Merry Xmas, and enjoy your families. If not, you can still enjoy your families and the other things that go along with Xmas. Heck, who really needs an excuse to get together with your loved one's. Have a safe Holiday........................................... .................................................. ......

I'm bawanna and I endorse the above message. I hate getting bombarded with materialistic shopping ads starting about Halloween or sooner. Used to be Thanksgiving but guess the need more time.

I also believe the materialistic part is for kids. Course like Xmas itself, who needs an excuse to buy something nice for yourself. Course that also goes against my belief that it's better to give than to receive, guess this really has me confused or perhaps that's normble.

Now if you try to tell me there ain't no Santa Claus put up your dukes, we're gonna tangle.

Interesting, and I agree except with perhaps the Bolded part. The spirit of good will and fellowship extant at Christmas is, in and of itself, something to be celebrated. And, I'm reminded of the for a day laying down arms by both sides in the middle of a war(s) as hope for humanity.

Well said.
