I'm on the verge of purchasing a CT380. But the shops in the Houston area seem to have this Pistol on back order. (I haven't called them all.)

Is this model undergoing some "stealth modifications" and therefore production is slowed down?

Hey Mike, Welcome to the forum and glad to have you.

I'm not sure if Kahr has slowed production on the CT380 but they have been in the process of improving the extractor on their .380 models to have a little bit of extra space between it and the breech face to improve feeding of non SAAMI spec ammo. I guess it is possible that this has slowed production.

There's plenty listed online: https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/kahr%2Bct380

You might also want to check Davidson's gun genie for local stock.

Best of luck. Welcome.

The Davidson's Gun Genie shows Davidson's stock only.

They list local shops that have agreed to accept transfers from Davidson.

Davidson gets their cut, the local shops get theirs. Some local shops get a bigger cut than others, but these guns all come from Davidson's stock.

In a nutshell, you're just shopping from one of the local shop's distributors.

Here's how it works...

Welcome, Mike!

Seems like the dealers were trying to give the CT380 away last fall. GrabaGun T Tombstone Tactical were selling them at $220 each then. Now they're back up to $277 at Tombstone (no tax, free shipping) - $286 at GaG (Texas sales tax, $7.99 shipping).... plus your FFL transfer fee:

(paid $280 for mine from Bud's a year & a half ago)
