I did not make SHOT this year but here is a cool video covering new products from Kahr. Lots of options for how the guns look these days.

Hoo boy. The "WWII" 1911 has a POST WWII Air Force insignia. Fail.

That's a sweet 1911, love the pin up engraving, not totally nuts over the air force insignia but I could live with that since I'm a poser anyhow.

Anxious to see how they offer up the 50. No doubt more than I got.

Thanks for the video's.........................I would rank the 1911 models at the bottom of any lists. I've never cared for writing all over a firearm. Makes them ugly. JMHO..........Everytime I looked at them, they hurt my eyes. Let's be real here, those 1911's are ugly. I can think of so many beautiful 1911 models that look better stock. I was surprised with the all metal Desert Eagles. They were beautiful, and I'm not even a Desert Eagle person.:p

Quite frankly Kahr weapons other than their Kahr pistol and Thompson sub machine guns are IMHO a waste of time and money. Desert Eagle Pistols are for those that have size issues.

Except for the Desert Eagle 1911's. They are sweet and about as nice or better than anything else out there.

While I've had a hankering for a 50AE, I keep asking myself what the heck for.

I went to a sportsman show, think it was the NRA show when it was in Seattle, it was right when the first Desert Eagles came out, 357 only.
The booth was slow and the guy took one all apart to show me the innards and such. It was fun and interesting. Mammoth thing though, way too large for my admittedly girlyman hands.

Brilliant marketing though, coming out with 357 and then offering a 44 but not kits so you had to buy a new gun and then offering kits later on.

Desert Eagles sell very well too. I know they are not for everyone, but they have a following. I think a lot of folks buy one just to have one. They probably do not shoot them much.
