Matte Blackened Finish

Looking at getting a PM9094, wondering how well the finish holds up. Any info is appreciated.

it holds up excellent. It is as good as the glock tennifer finish. Also looks super in the PM9..

+10 on this one, I have a PN9094 with night sights and it looks (and shoots) awsome. Good choice, but I will say they can sometimes be hard to find. But worth it.

Totally worth it. I was at a gun store 2 months ago with a two toned PM9 in one hand and an all black with night sights in the other. I went ahead and splurged on the all black with night sights. So glad I did. It looks amazing, and I love the night sights. The all black makes it less flashy, and in turn more concealable. I've put 1500 rnds through mine and the finish still looks great.

If you have the money, get the all black with night sights.

+1 , I also have the PM9094N that almost a year old now with over 1500 rounds through it and and I carry it everyday, the finish is still perfect.

How does the black finish hold up over time in Kydex holster? Does it get marked up any worse that in a leather holster?

Kydex is hard and touches at precise points every time, so it will show wear faster than leather. Formed leather can be stiff and unforgiving and wear more than soft leather, but soft leather by itself makes a poor holster. A great combination of a Kydex shell lined with soft leather is about as good as you're going to get and even it will eventually show some wear. I have a pair of Silent Thunder soft leather lined Kydex holsters (see my sig line for links) that I really like.
