After 9+ months of waiting, my new K9 Elite finally came home. Tomorrow off to the range. Here's a few pics.

I just got my K9 recently as well. Absolutely wonderful pistols to shoot. I will post a mini-review as soon as a I get a chance. I don't think my pictures will be as nice as yours, though!

:D

I found the accuracy and ease of handling on par with any full-size 9mm I own. I will be carrying this one quite a bit. Now to get those 9mm dies for my Dillon 550....

Why 9 months? Are they that hard to get these days?

I 've been actively looking since December and not 1 Elite. I ordered through Bud's Gun Shop and they usually can get things pretty quickly.

I also posted this on the GT forum...

In the past I have criticized Kahr for poor craftsmanship and QC on a few occasions. I have also given them credit when credit is due. My new K9 Elite was well worth the wait as far as I can tell since its early in the game. The fit and finish of this pistol is damn near perfect. It looks as good inside as it does outside and that transmits to one smooth operating Kahr. The nice thing is that as it continues to break in it'll just get better. I find its operation to be as smooth as some of the finer semi-custom 1911's out there. Those of you out there who have had the pleasure to shoot Les Baer's, Ed Brown's and Wilson's can appreciate that.
At the range, I managed to put through 123 rounds of Remington UMC, Federal AE and Winchester WB without a failure of any kind. A good start in my book. Accuracy at 21 feet about the same as my CW9 and K9, groups were the same, too. I have a good feeling that once this Elite has has a thousand rounds through it, it will surpass the CW9 and K9.
I spoke to a technician a Kahr yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find out that my new Elite was built in the second week of Sept. If that's any indication of production and QC, I'm happy to see Kahr getting on track and I wish them the best. They have a lot of employees that go above and beyond what it takes to keep their customers happy and I applaud them for that.:D
