Well, at least up here where I live that is. I saw the first crocus a few days ago and here in the mountains that is truly the first sign of spring.

Of course, the next day we got about 6-8 inches of snow. It all melted of the next day followed by rain for about 6 hours the next day. Today was all sunshine but windy.

Yep, spring time in the Rockies is here!

Great! I live in the Minneapolis suburbs and I did my morning walk at 13° and that afternoon we has an inch of snow which landed nicely with the 8" that fell just a few days before. Our spring is at least 30 days late.

Tulips have been sprouting for the last couple weeks, but temperatures are lagging behind. 10 to 15 degrees cooler than where we should be this time of year.

Just curious. Is offially a typo or a play on words as in this has been an awful spring? 😊 Been beautiful here in NC.

No, this is our typical spring at 9100 feet of elevation. And no snakes up here, not even rattlers. We do still have quite a bit more snow planned through May, though.
