I can't remember seeing this posted, but if it has been please excuse the redundancy.

Here are two screen grabs from a video that Kahr Firearms Group posted on YT showing custom sight options.
The gent in the video is displaying the sights he has on his personal PM9:

I’m trying to figure out how he got black Tupperware to look the same as wet-sanded black-nitride-coated stainless steel?

Am I missing something? It looks like an all-metal gun. Like a black MK9 that was sanded. Except, look at the grip. It looks like the Kahr-textured polymer.

Looks all metal like a K9 to me. Just a rubber or polymer grip.

This is the picture that would have been perfect when you were trying to make me understand "Distressed" look.

It kind of appeals to me kind of sort of. Not taking sand paper to my mint K9 just yet though.

Kind of take my mind back to American Graffiti. Tie him to the car and drag him!

K9s don’t have the rail slits in the slide under the bevel. K9s also don’t have beveled slides. You can see the removable side plate with the screw.

Cokeman, do you have any idea how he got the metal and plastic parts to looks the same, like wet-sanded metal that had previously been nitride-coated? Just a question. Not like any of us are gonna do it (probably), but it seems like even more work than doing the same thing to a K9. So, it begs the question, “How?”.

”Rattle-Can spray paint from Lowe’s” would be funny, but that answer has already been offered...😉

Just curious (which may have been the impetus for this thread, anyway...).

I’d bet it’s a cerakote faux finish like I’ve seen them do on some glocks lately.

I didn’t even think of that! You may be right!

Don't know if it's the same thing, but I was in a gun shop today and they do Cerakoting and he showed me some samples and a couple were just like that. They call it "distressed" . they have Tungsten and Ti . They can coat plastic. They also do laser engraving and mill dove tail for sights. I have my CT40 slide in there for all 3(USMC emblem laser etched, dove tail for an XS big dot and Ti distressed). I got a T40 polygonal barrel and milled slide stop pin coming. https://www.ptarms.com/cerakote
