Today makes the 3rd time I have successfully logged in and spent a good amount of time writing a reply to a thread I started, posted and was told I was not logged in and the post was gone. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've had that happen to me.
Most times, the data I've inputted will be there after I log in from the window that said I must be logged in.
I've also recovered the data I've inputted by hitting the back button on my browser. In those cases, I'll copy the data, open a new reply window and paste it there.
Now days, I do long replies in word pad, then paste it here.
You might also try checking the small "remember me" box (located just below the log in boxes at the top left of of the page) when logging in.
Regards,
Greg

LOL, I had to log back in to make this post. Data was still there when I logged back in from the window that said I must be logged in.

Chalk up #4 time. I just went to reply to about my MK40 recoil spring and it said I had timed out & to hit the back button & reload the previous page. Reply was gone. Lost in cyberspace I guess.

I always do a copy on my efforts followed by a spell check, then it doesn't matter if there is a foul-up. I'm also having to do way too many log-ons,

Cynthia

It would be nice if someone from tech support would jump in here for some instructions or help. If you took all the web sites I am on and added up all the problems I have had (I’ve had none) they would not come close to what I’ve had on Kahr Talk. I am not a real technical guy! Tech support help!!

Updated VB to see if that helps. If you get an error and can screenshot it, please post it or send my way.

Thanks!

It happens on this site.

No idea if it has anything to do with your problem, but I always try clearing the cache (ie "memory") first when I have any trouble on a bulletin board. Amazing how often that clears up odd behavior.

I had the host monitor logs for a while and they did not see any connections drop or time out. I did have them update VB in case that makes a difference. I agree on clearing cache too.
