Image downloads fail [Archive]

I am having a problem down loading images on the site. Says upload of files failed, and I notice when I go to press upload the area turns white and the words upload disappears. I never posted anything lewd or obscene....well maybe a Sig or Glock once in a while!!:confused:

I'm not to tech bright but maybe what your uploading is too big or not the right letters, jpg or whatever the others are that I of course have no idea what that means.

No idea Bawanna. Everything is the same as before in here and I use to post pics. No problems any other forum....well except the Original CZ Forum (it is a nightmare) having to have a web host to store the pics. I like direct download from the computer.

I have a different problem with image download. Posted two pictures on Saturday in PM section-one downloaded correctly, the other was rotated counterclockwise. Deleted the image, downloaded it again-same result. Go figure.

I have run into the same thing. I found it is the size of the photo's. Large files are rejected, but doesn't say that. Kinda like being married, you have to guess what you did wrong.

Checked the size of my photos and the size of the one which loaded properly is under 1MB (952KB) and the one which got rotated is 1.29MB. Looks like we need to resize all pictures before posting.

It worked. Removed the picture, resized it under 1MB and posted again. This time uploaded correctly.
