double column.50AE magazine

Thought some of you might like this. Crude but functional, this was a "proof of concept" 10 round double column.50AE magazine next to a. 44 magnum desert eagle mag. It was surprisingly similar size to the desert eagle mags. I think only around 2mm wider if my memory is correct. I intend to return to this project this winter.

It was actually more like a 1.5 column mag. The thinking was to combine removing the fuller on the desert eagle magazine with a very slight increase in mag width while being compensated for by slightly reducing grip width to get 3 more rounds in the same size or smaller handle. That's allot for .50AE. Getting an 11th round in there was played with but requires a substantial increase in floor plate depth.
