I just did my first sous vide cook today. Bought a immersion cooker and tried it on some center cut chops today. Wow....just wow! Moist, tender just perfect. Took them out of the bag...seared them and set the table...even my wife did not disagree that they were the best pork chops16102she had ever eaten.

Greg, that looks delicious.

Pork Chops you say? Visiting my son last week in the Dallas area and we went to Perrys to marvel at their seven finger high chop. My God, people actually consume a 35oz. chop.

Poor me, I just shouted into a clowns mouth, drove another thirty feet, and a bag of food came out through a window.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dee5FwKOnkM This is a good start to learn about Sous Vide cooking and what you need. There are many vids on YouTube that can teach you. Seems like a real PITA but it is well worth is ...especially steaks.
