The back sight fell off my new cm9 I tried to repair with Loctite it also failed within days, I retuned to Kahr they installed new sight and returned in 5 days, faster then I expected. The first sight was so loose it would simply slide out either a poor manufactured sight or the dovetail cut too large.
The new one appears tight, aside from this minor problem the cm9 is the best small auto I've owned, accurate excellent trigger and fun to shoot.
For the money difficult to beat and the customer service was excellent.

Glad they fixed you up proper. And quick too. Don't always happen that way but makes us real happy when it does.

Yep, glad they fixed you
up quickly.
glad it worked out for you. other options for future reference? crazy glue a shim to bottom of sight, re-install, slightly peen (gasp) the rear dovetail, re-install, and my choice, toss the stock sights, mill a dovetail for the front sight (which Kahr refused to do) and install a set of TFOs which have a set screw for the rear sight. MHO!

I generally peen the bottom of the sight, I never peen the dovetail.

yep, set screws are the way to go, I will do that if I have additional problems. I actually like the factory sights if they remain in place.
