After ordering my PM 45 on March 27, the gun arrived on September 1st! I tried buying one in stock but everyone wanted much more then I paid. They were out of production, the factury busy making the 9mm and the 380's (per Kahr). I cleaned and oiled the PM prior to shooting. I shot 250 rounds at the range yesterday! :yo: The gun was great with one problem. The slide stop sring was bent, allowing the slide stop to back out. It might have happened when I cleaned the PM prior to the range visit. Kahr is sending a new spring FREE so life is good.

Congrats on the new PM45!
When you're installing the slide stop, hold the lever at about 4 o'clock and tilt the pin from vertical to the right a bit and try to insert the pin to the side of the spring, straightening the pin back to the vertical for insertion. It's possible to catch the spring and bend it as you insert the pin. Once you know to watch for that, it's easier to prevent.
Here's a discussion on that with pictures and cautions:

The screw is into plastic... DON'T USE FORCE... just snug it. The hole will strip, requiring a new frame!

Thanks for the tip Wynn. I assume I did the damage. I never had that problem with the PM 9, but the setup looks the same.

Through trial and error and taking things apart, I've learned a lot here and like to share, as well as learn from everyone else. This forum is great for that. It sure beats starting from scratch! I added a link to a discussion on that to my previous post.

I recieved the spring from Kahr yesterday. It was easy to change and tight now. It is now locked and loaded! :yo: Thanks to wyntrout for the help. :D
