Is +P+ ammo approved by manufacturer; Not in possession of my new purchase:confused:

My Kahr manual only states that they approve of +P and no mention is made about +P+. My assumption is that if it were approved, they would say so.

that doesn't seem like a good idea. there are lots of excellent regular and +p loads out there.

I don`t believe that +P+ ammo is approved for Kahr handguns.Stick with a good standard pressure or +P round and you will be in good shape.Try Speer Gold Dot +P rounds or perhaps Remington Golden Saber +P 124 grain HP and you`ll be well armed. There are many really good self defense loads out there for 9mm handguns without having to go the +P+ route.:)

I carry Federal HST 147gn +P LE in my PM9. They can be hard to get but I found them at Kyle'sGunShop.com (http://www.kylesgunshop.com/) for $30 per box of 50. Kyle also has Speer Gold Dot 9mm 124gn +P LE (50 Rounds) for $29. Shipping is reasonable and if you get a few boxes even more so. He's a friendly guy and I've bought from him 3 times so far with excellent service.

doesn't see much in selection of +P+ so there is a reason for that. I have always been of thought that if wanted a 9mm round to be of +P+ i should probably just buy a 40 caliber in the first place
