Hello Kahr guys and gals. I purchased a used P9 and very happy with it. They say familiarity breeds contempt, because there are blemishes that I didnt notice before, and on closer inspection, wear on the disconnector that worries me. I want to post a closeup picture for ya’ll to look at and ask for your ideas and any free advice butapparently new members dont have that capability. Would someone care to post a closeup of their disconnector for comparison??

If you use tinypic or postimage or one of those you can post the picture that way.

Thank you for the response. FYI looks like TINYPIC is no longer available. I will try 'postimage' ...

This (hopefully) is the image of my disconnector. note the burr on the top and leading edge where it engages the slide. Also note the wedge shape...has that been filed down intentionally? or does it come from the factory this way?? https://postimg.cc/VrZjH2DW

That worked, I didn't know about tinypic, never used it but I use postimage all the time since photobucket went commie.

I'd just stone that little flake off and it should not cause any issue. Not sure how it got like that, it will probably wear itself off with some shooting.
Looks like a pretty thin burr, should clean up pretty easy.

Thanks for the welcome.
The burr(s) are from slide contact, which it has to do in order to disconnect the trigger from the sear, so the pistol doesn't empty the magazine in one burrrrp ;-) But does it come from the factory in that wedge shape?? Pretty thin edge...makes me think the previous owner thought he was lightening the action...OH well, think I'll go shoot it.

AhhhHaaa!!! Answer found on the AR15 forum....so Yes, the disconnecter is filed to a wedge shape. https://www.ar15.com/forums/handguns/Kahr_Polymer_Frame_Disassembly__Tutorial_/35-102618/
