With my new P380 I will be putting tritium night sights on it soon. I noticed that the Kahr website has 2 different options for the P380. They sell the XS Big Dot's and the Trijicons. I have read several posts that recommend the XS Big Dot's. I currently have them on my PM9 and like them. It looks like the Trijicon's are possibly a bit lower profile than the Big Dots. The factory sights are pretty low profile and I like that. The Big Dots just seem to stick up higher. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? For those that have the Trijicon's on their P380 are they fairly bright? It also looks like the Big Dots only have tritium on the front sight and not the rear. Is that the case?

I would appreciate any thoughts and opinions on this. For the Big Dot people, have you ever found the higher profile to be a problem with holsters?

Does anyone know if there are other options for the P380 in addition to the XS Big Dots or the Trijicon's?

on my GO big dot. The P380 is what it is a very short range defense gun. 7 yards and under is where this gun shines. I have the xs big dots on my P380 and PM9 and I shout shootmy PM9 5 to 1 with the P380. why that is I cannot answer. These sights look awesome on the P380 and they don't snap up for me at all and I pocket carry it when I carry it. They are very accurate sights, suprisingly accurate to be honest. I have not shot my P380 at 20+ yards and realy cold care less about that range, so my pracrtice is close and those sights are simply awesome. A big kudos to kahr and to es sight people for making such a sight available for such a small gun. Unless you have a good smitty, I would just send the slide to kahr and pay a few bucks extra and let them install eithe rof the two sights your talking about. A sight pusher tool will help alot but this is one small guna nd many sight pushers just don't lock up well in this small gun. Pay the extra, let the people who made the gun do it. You can just send the slid eto them regular mail even and turn around time is less than a week. A call to kahr will tell you exactly what to do and how much to send. If they say $30 for shipping, just tell them you are shipping it regualr mail and just the slide and the cost should drop to around $5.
