Took the wifey's new LCP ll up nort, and did a bit of shooting. Cleaned it up, lubed it, and hung a target. Let the wife load it up, she stood at 10 yds. away and proceeded to put 7 shots in an 8 in. circle. Mission accomplished. She likes it, says it's a breeze to carry. She did have one misfeed, but even she said that she rode the slide lock with her thumb. I think she may have gimp wristed it once also. I shot about 40 rds. through it and I thought that it was smooth, accurate, and the recoil was no issue whatsoever. I liked the trigger. So much better than the Bodyguard I used to own. Some take up, a wall, then bang. Not a real long pull like you have with the earlier LCP's, and comfortably light. I thought that it was much better than an M&P trigger. The reset is very easy to feel and not long making double taps easier. All in all, for a cheaper firearm, not bad for the first round. I painted the front sight white and it worked well for the wifey. Black Novak style rear sight. Easy to paint if necessary. The operation is smooth and the takedown is easy. I will say that the slide tension is just below my wifey's limit. Any tougher and it would/could be an issue. I'm thinking that after it loosens up a bit, it will be perfect. We shot Federal 95 gr. FMJ's, and Critical Defense 90 gr. FTX JHP's. The Hornady's were very accurate. It's what she'll be using for carry. We'll have to work on clearing jams and the such...……………………………...

A much underrated slick little gun that finds its way into my pocket far more than I ever thought it would. My front sight is white with a fluorescent red nail polish top coat. I also painted the back of the exposed hammer white which tells me it is ready to go bang. That may be a bit too much to shove on your wife as less is more but it works for my idle mind. If she carries it, make sure you go over it on a regular basis just to keep lint out of the action.
