Yesterday, I took my Taurus G2C, my CW9, and my CW45 to the range for a workout. The two middle targets are the CW9, and the CW45 target is on top. I was practicing the draw and two quick double-taps, from 7 yards.
I find I can do this better with the CW45, than with my CW9. Even though the 45 has a tad bit more recoil than the 9mm, I think the slightly bigger profile makes it easier for me to handle quickly.
Either way, they both did great, and the G2C didn't do too shabby either. Those are 6" paper plates.
Cheers! :)

I'd stick with the CW45. Easier to see those big meaningful bullet holes.

Of course bigger bullet, bigger holes. I need all the help I can get so I actually prefer to call them wider bullets.
Better chance of a hit, not much but every little bit helps.
Timing is good, Thursday is my final day here at the PD. They've made a policy that officers can now carry 9's again.
Gotten used to big fat easy to see bullets, won't have to handle the tiny little 9's. Eye's aren't what they used to be.
Years ago I had to sort all the brass and we had 9's, 40's and 45's. It was a nightmare. After awhile you could pick em out but it was tough. 45's were easy.

Say what, youre retiring?
Congratulations!
Being an unemployed geezer aint so bad. Plenty more time to annoy the wife.

My fear is more time for the wife to annoy me. She's working for another couple years so I'll get some days where I can do whatever I want.....................I hope.
