The mags for the Scorpion are cheap, relatively speaking anyway.

Just so everyone knows; I had it set up as a Tri Lug.
Locks up like a Bank Vault

I used to carry one of those in 32 Cal occasionally when I worked for the government, if it's the same weapon made in Eastern Europe.

Ah, the original scorpion in .32. I’ve seen videos on those. Hickok45 has a video on a full auto version of that one. I know mine is 9mm and I believe Barth’s is also.

Well, this must have been forty years ago and it was full auto. I didn't know it is still made or now in 9mm. I did remember the country - I just didn't know how to spell it.

Oh my, the original Scorpion of which you speak I believe is a completely different animal.
Sounds like you're talking Škorpion vz. 61.
Wiki:
"The Škorpion vz. 61 is a Czechoslovak (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czechoslovakia) machine pistol (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_pistol) developed in 1959 by Miroslav Rybář (1924–1970) and produced under the official designation Samopal vzor 61 ("submachine gun model 1961") by the Česká zbrojovka (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%8Cesk%C3%A1_zbrojovka_Uhersk%C3%BD_Brod) arms factory in Uherský Brod (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uhersk%C3%BD_Brod) from 1961 to 1979."
You should have found a way to hang on to that little monster friend :)

Yep, that's it. I even had an inside pocket in my leather coat to carry it. I couldn't hang onto it since it was government property.

I'd be just fine hanging out and going shooting, and maybe have a beer now and then,
