It may be a parody with that ending, but it's an absolutely amazing demonstration of the robot's capabilities!

Who will be held responsible for glitches that could cause malfunctions which could injure/kill innocent people????? The odds may be very low, but you know it's going to happen...………………………...

Nobody! Just like why the use of Mercenaries are becoming more and more common [oh wait PRIVATE CONTRACTORS]. Approximately 50% of fighting forces in Iraq were PRIVATE CONTRACTORS, because they don't have to go by rules. Dyncorp and Blackwater were the biggest suppliers. Blackwater went over the top and changed it's name to avoid prosecution.

Robots will make it even easier to side step rules! Our government used Blackwater during Katrina to make the people do what they were told. Blackwater did not need to follow rules common to law enforcement such as probable cause etc. They could just kick in doors and force people out. Police would need a warrant to kick in a door, "private citizens" do not.

OK, I've been pondering this all afternoon and discussing with a friend who is much smarter than me. Although I have no idea how they do it so convincingly, I'm thinking the robot is a computer generated image (CGI).
Motion Capture aka mocap. The same way they did Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Also the newer Planet of the Apes.

Sounds like a dangerous job. If someone attempts to kick in my door without showing LE ID it may result in a response that may not turn out well for either of us.

I'll second that. I'm sure this is only one tiny little item of the multitude of scary things going on in government that needs to be fixed. If Trump can drain the swamp next term, maybe we'll be closer to that happening.

They could be. If you think the people in that video would be stupid enough to put a loaded weapon in the hands of a robot, then spin it around, or stand in front of it, you have a lot more faith in the current state of AI than you should have.

Where can I buy one of those robot controller sticks? It's the only way.

EXCEPT!
Blackwater carried FULL AUTO weapons and whatever else they wanted! They somewhat outgunned any competition....:behindsofa:
