Maybe this is more like what you were talking about. Never wrapped my hand around the grip of one, but I did spot one in the case at Cabelas on Black Friday weekend. At a approx 1K price point (custom shop?) I didn't need to hold it...
I'm fine with the PM9.

Peace

Yeah sorry, I was inquireing about the Kimber. I had forgotten all about the name/word evo being used "loosely" by more than one manufacturer. Crack that whip...………………………...

It is the replacement for the disaster that was the Solo. I see a few at our range and they seem to be a really nice gun for the executives among us. I suspect they lost a lot of market share to the P365.

Yeah, I forgot about the Kimber. But the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 is awesome for what it is...

I have the EVO CDP and it shoots really well, bought it during the recent $100 rebate.

Most pistols I get need something or other to make them right for me: Talon grips, different sights, etc.

Nothing has been changed or modified on my EVO, I liked it right out of the box.

In fact, it made me not like my Micro 9 and I just sent it back to Kimber in hopes they can make it shoot better!

It is a bit heavy though and I still like the PM9.

I was curious...………….never even saw one until the other day. I've read where the reviewers thought that the recoil was a bit harsh, more so than other firearms of that size. It's a pretty gun though...…………...

The one I saw in Cabelas glass case was pretty. The very busy salesman was explaining to another customer that was the last one they had in stock, but it was the "Custom Shop" version and was the highest price version (aprox one grand). They had sold out of the less expensive, more basic versions (less machine work on the slide & parts) but those had a price point around $850...
I liked the size and the "melt" on the gun, but at that price point, well, I don't need a sixth different carry gun that badly.
