Had a good time for two nights on the San Antonio Riverwalk and the Alamo Bowl.

Pretty little canal, be fun to kind meander and check that out. I never could stand the crowds at sporting events, never been to one actually baseball or football. Did do a hockey game once and 40 years ago I went to a basketball game. Didn't find any reason to go back again. Not my game anyhow. There are people that are crazy for it and I guess that's a good thing.

You're right. I had my usual dain bramaged brain fart .... in 1986 we did the whole Sesquicentennial thing - quite a few locations to see in a short 6-7 days. Yep, the River Walk was in San Antone

A woman, cranky because her husband was late coming home again, decided to leave a note, saying, "I've had enough and have left you...don't bother coming after me”. Then she hid under the bed to see his reaction.


After a short while the husband comes home and she could hear him in the kitchen before he comes into the bedroom. She could see him walk towards the dresser and pick up the note.
After a few minutes he wrote something on it before picking up the phone and calling someone. "She's finally gone...yeah I know, about bloody time, I'm coming to see you, put on that sexy French nightie. I love you...can't wait to see you...we'll do all the naughty things you like."He hung up, grabbed his keys and left.
She heard the car drive off as she came out from under the bed. Seething with rage and with tears in her eyes she grabbed the note to see what he wrote..."I can see your feet. We're outta bread: be back in five minutes."

Well, that’s not enough information to answer the question! What is a Kimber 1911 and what does .45 ACP mean?

Does the man look poor or oppressed? Is he really a terrorist? Am I guilty of profiling? Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation?

Does the pistol have an appropriate safety built into it? Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he’d be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?

Should I call 9-1-1? Why is this street so deserted? Can we make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus. This is all so confusing!

A cowboy, who just moved to Montana from Texas, walks into a bar and orders three mugs of Bud.

He sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn.

Reminds me of a time me and a couple buddies was out in a pit with a friend that didn't shoot much. I had a TC Contender 45/410 and my buddy had one too, near identical.
One of us was loading 45 and the other 410 and loading at the back of my truck so the third guy couldn't really see what was what.
He wanted to try of course so we handed him the 45 and he did alright but had to work at it, we of course were shooting the 410 so we could easily hit with hardly no effort at all.

Don't think he ever caught on and I don't recall if we ever bothered to tell him about it. Maybe I should feel a might guilty about that.
