I just got my K40, Diamond Black with night sights. I found a guy with one for sale who had it for a little while but had never fired it. He carries a stainless one and didn't want the black one afterall. It was still new in the box with the tag hung to the trigger guard and everything. He didn't even open the owner's manual bag. He gave me a good deal too. It was manufactured in 2014 so this thing has been sitting a while.

Anyway... Once I got it home I disassembled it and cleaned off the assembly lube. However, the trigger felt a tad gritty. I know how a Kahr trigger is supposed to feel because I used to have a PM9.

So I disassembled the slide and found a lot more assembly lube, which I cleaned thoroughly. I've been reading on the forum and saw some people recommending a dry striker channel. I put the striker assembly back in dry and now the trigger feels like my old PM9, which is the smoothest trigger I've ever felt.

I'm just passing this along.
