I have a P365 and have a question. No one on Sig Talk has responded yet. I've had the 365 for a couple of months now and have noticed there is a lot of vertical movement when I press on the top of the slide near the front and the bottom of the dust cover on the frame. It's more than on any other handgun I ever owned. I can't find any info anywhere about it and wanted to know if it's normal for the 365 or should I contact Sig. I can't get out to check if any other 365's do that. Calling Sig is a last resort for me because they never want to admit one of their guns might have a problem. I put over 700 rounds thru it and it has been perfect. Can anyone out there give me a hand. Thanks

How much is a lot? I have two P365. If I press really hard I can get it to move 1-2 mm. I can just get a fingernail in the gap. Its the same on both of mine. A picture would be nice, too. If you're seeing 1/16-1/8 inch, I'd say call Sig. I saw your post over at the other place but didn't have time to respond yesterday. :) It just occured to me too. that the slide rides on the fire control module, or whatever its called. Have you taken that out at all? If so, make sure it is seated correctly. I'm guessing though that if it wasn't you'd be seeing other issues.

My P365 has movement when I squeeze those two points at the same time. To me, it looks like majority of the movement is the dust cover flexing. The pistol performs admirably so it is not a concern for me.

I have some movement in both of my guns but as Greg said, it does not affect the performance in any way. In my opinion you have one of the best compact high capacity guns ever made only to be bested by the PM/CM series by Kahr which are much more pocketable.

It's not the fire control module never had it out. Saw a tabletop video by Graham Bates on a 365xl and his moved as much as mine did. Saw him do one on a 365 sas and there was virtually no movement. It doesn't effect the performance gun shoots great. Just find it to be a little odd

I never heard anyone talk about it before. My Kahr PM9 doesn't move at all. I may call Sig anyway but i know they'll just give me the run around. Thanks for the comment

I have read about it but I am not sure how much effect it has on practical accuracy. My alloy framed BHP has a lot of it but it seems to group well in spite of it. Some degree of fitting tolerance may be needed for reliability when dirty.

I couldn't find anything on it figured i try here. Tried Sig Talk over 100 views and no response. Have to come to Kahr Forum to get some help. The gun has been perfect and is very accurate. I only have 2 guns now the 365 and Kahr PM9. Thanks for the response.

If it were mine and it had the qualities you are stating, the last thing I would do is call SIG. Put another 10,000 rounds through it and re-evaluate.
