Doing some cleaning, I came across my old digital recorder. My phone has the same, but easier to use features, so this one has been relegated. Saw it's little neoprene(ish) sleeve and a light bulb went on. I've recently started pocketing my CW9 as a bug, and this works great as a mag pocket holster/protective sleeve. I've never had the mag self unload, but also have not carried it much, so hopefully this will help keep it all together while minimizing dust/lint collection for the mag. Nice that it has no belt clip, so no unnecessary added bulk. I bet these could be made cheaply (China? BwaHaHaHa!)

I like that.

I like that. Was it you that had the issue with the mags self unloading in your pocket? I just read a thread on here where someone was very frustrated with that, but not sure if it was you. I had my MK9 mags do that in my pocket in the past, but not so with the CW9 as of so far, knock on wood. Hopefully never with this little sleeve.

Looks like you can buy the sleeves. In case anyone is interested:

You can tweek the feed lips a tiny bit and end that losing bullets issue. On that sleeve you could also run a line of stitching to match the angle of the feed lips. This would ensure that the bullets have no room to escape the magazine.
Great repurpose idea, should work great.

Wasnt me. I don’t usually carry one (although I should) but that right there would make it super easy to carry a spare.

Both points make good sense! I have adjusted feed lips in the past on other guns mags, and had good results. So far, so good with these mags. I think I may just do what you suggested about sewing that angle on there.

I did that with a Winchester knife case. It fit the Kahr P9 Covert extended mag perfectly.

Gotchya! Yes, there’s a little room, so it’s ok for double stacks too (your 43x). I just tried a P365 12 round mag and a M&P 17 round mag. Both fit quite well. Snug, but not tight on those. A bit loose on the single stack Kahr mag, but the open end faces upward in my pocket, so no concerns about that. : )

I probably could but I am not even sure where that nylon case is. I have since gone to a High Noon Holsters spare mag pouch.

I use the exact same Winchester knife pouch too. Love it.
