I've had nine total but have settled on three models; a K9 with elite trigger, ct laser grips and night sight, my personal favorite the TP9 and lastly a S9 that was purchased to install a green laser.
Sold or traded away a K9, T9, P9, P45, TP45 and a cw9. My favorite of those was the P9.

I lost my CW380, CM9, CT9, CW45, and PM45 in a boating accident. I had a CW9 once in the past but traded it for the lost CM9. :behindsofa:

I did have an E9, the first Kahr I ever bought, but sold it due to its heavy weight. Clearly, that was a mistake. Hopefully this new-to-me K9 fills in for it.

CW 380- (My daughter took it and never gave it back), CM9, CW9, TP9 + night sights, CW 45, KT 40
I sometimes put the TP9 slide on the CW9 frame for covert carry.
I purchased a threaded Bbl a while back. Use it on the TP9; and use the TP9 4" Bbl on the CW9. Longer barrels = better ballistics.
CM9 for pocket & ankle carry
CW45 a little too much recoil for me now.
Not much difference in recoil/muzzle flip between TP9 and all steel KT 40.

Hmmm....I wonder if one could put a T9 slide onto a K9 frame and it match up and work?

MK40, CM45, CW45, and PM9, in rank of preference.

It may be interesting for you guys, but the CW 45 is the same size as a S&W 638 snub nosed revolver. Length and height are the same, only the cylinder makes the revolver wider.

What happened to the CW 45, wait, shake and rattle memory banks.......you got a PM top end and made the CW a PM????

Test question, results may indicate Ahlzeimers testing needed.

Beautiful pack of Kahrs. Love that Black and White Picture!!!

I personally believe in owning two of each of your carry guns. One I shoot them often, a regular weekly schedule with a lot of rounds, So one will be a range gun that gets plenty of use. One that will wear down recoil springs, and other components etc. Crap can happen to any firearm made, and if one goes down for some reason, I want the other there to be ready when I walk out the door.

So I have

(2) Kahr CM 9mm's
(2) Kahr 380's. CW9 and the recent P380 which filled out my desire of two.
(2) Beretta Nano's, one which is over 12,000 rds.
(3) Beretta Pico's
(2) Snubbies

I own other guns, but these are my carry gun and therefore guns that get shot very often. What is my favorite? Depends, right now it is the Kahr P380 which is the most recent. All the Kahrs are such lovely well made shooters. I just like holding them and admiring them as well.

I Have two snub nose revolvers.

I have two of the 638-2 revolver but only because I hate the Hillary Hole and know that after a defensive shooting, police may confiscate my weapon until the investigation is over. That happened to a friend and they kept his Model 38 in the evidence room for 5 years (stored very well though).

So of that one, I have a back-up so I can continue to carry a .38 without Hillary Hole.

Dude that's been out for decades. It's called a compact 1911, "Paraordnance LDA" to be specific.

I considered getting an LDA for a while there.

Colt made a DAO New Agent, but it wasn’t very popular I guess.

I have 3 LDA's an Officer Model, a full size Elite that I gave my son for graduation, and my first was a 13 rounder double stack. The officers at my department all chipped in and bought it for me (knew I wanted it bad) when I had a surgery and was out for several months. Never left my side, played with it for months before I got to shoot it.

Lot of people don't care for the trigger but I like them a lot, all the good things of a 1911 with a little margin for error in the trigger. I like them a lot. Don't carry them often but I won't part with them.

Well that is neat! For a time, I thought the LDA was the way to go when it came to carrying a 1911.

It was, sorry. :boink:

However, I have read that's why Kahr hasn't done the all-steel Kahr .45.....too much direct competition from a 1911.

That doesn't make any sense. With all the competition in the 9mm world, why would they make 9mm, then?

I think I read it on this very discussion forum!

I can see it though. I assume Kahr has reasoned the size and weight to contain the .45 ACP cartridge and given the fact how few K9's and K40's they sell......Kahr's aren't the most common handgun.....I mean we clearly like them, like them enough to join a discussion forum dedicated to the design....but I have only seen one Kahr in a gun store...ever....and I bought it.

I've seen 1911's in most every gun store. I figure they figure just how heavy the thing would have to be and are like "we won't sell very many."

I could be wrong.

Isn't this site linked or an extension of Kahr itself? If so, could someone ask a member of the design/marketing team at Kahr?
