I traded a friend for his CW45....now his has an "Elite trigger" as it had to go back to the factory several times for repairs. I personally like the taller slide serrations on the CW45 vs. P45.

Was the P45 supposed to get a better trigger? What are your thoughts on one vs. the other?

Do you detect any difference between the two you have? I’m under the impression that all Kahrs’ are getting the same trigger these days. I’m sure the experts will be along shortly,😀

Triggers are all the same, only cosmetic differences and the barrel between the CW's and the P's.

I do not have a P45 (haven't even seen one in person). I should have been more clear in my post, sorry. I do think the taller slide serrations of the CW 45 are an advantage though....

Anyone have the two that can give us a comparison?

I don't have a P45, but I have a CW45 and a PM45. The CW45 was my first Kahr 45, and I love it. I picked up a used PM45 because I wanted something a hair shorter in grip and barrel for summer carry. They both shoot relatively easy (I did notice a slight reduction in kick/snap when I put in the new RSA in the PM45). I don't notice a difference in triggers.

Some notes... When I picked up the PM45, there was also a used CM45 I handled. It looked like it had a different barrel design, but thats the "M" series. Also, with my leather CW45 holster, my P series fit a little loose (also have a TP45). I'm pretty sure it's because of the extra machining work on the P series slides (so I won't use the same holster for both). Last, IIRC, the slide stop on the C series is cast, while the P series is forged.
