View Full Version : Just picked it up!
It will be cleaned, lubed, racked a number of times and rack left open over night. Looking forward to shooting it next week.
Also have a P 380 on the way.

Beauty!
Congratulations.
I just cleaned and lubed mine. It's never even hinted at a malfunction. Buttery smooth since day one, and very accurate.

Great to read that!

I took the MK9 to the range today. I followed most of the 'Proper prep for a new Kahr' thread advice.
100 rounds and no malfunctions. Went through a box of Lawman and Blazer.
Friday my new P380 will makes it's range debut. Looking for the same results.
Great news. Man I do like those grips. If I didn't have laser grips on my MKs I'd be searching for a set.
Maybe I should just settle for a set of those expanded hollow point screws :)

I like those too...
Time to break out the set of needle files and my 2.5X magnifying OptiVisor and get to work!

Nice looking MK! The only gun I’ve ever had to pull on anyone. The gun that most likely saved me and my wife & sons life!

It does look like a "solid hunk of defensive steel" and I suspect will tamp down recoil pretty well.
BirdsThaWord...glad you had the tools and the courage to do what you had to do. Glad it worked out well.

Thanks man!
Nice looking Kahr. Make you fully understand the difference between the value series (my CW9) MK has some nice rounded edges. Definitely more time spent on astetics.
Enjoy
