It's not a problem in my P series guns but that K9....ugh! Anyone make a block that I can put in there to hold that thing open while I remove the slide stop?

Many people use a chopstick.

Sharpie worked for me until I lightened the slide lock spring a tad.

What is the length of object that I need?

+1 on a chopstick...works great, they are tapered so pull back the slide and stick it down from the top until the slide/frame marks line up and you no longer have to hold on to anything...they are soft wood and can't scratch the gun and they are free....

Kahr sells a block. Check their website.

But, but, but....my K9 has no marks to line up!

Early model, 1995 production and that's one stout spring!

OK, found it. Like $5.00 and pink, for the sissies that won't make their own. LOL

Well that's good, a specific made tool is always better than an improvised one......
