Thought I would bring you up to date on my new P9 situation. It's in Greeley on Kahr's dime after a couple of phone conversations with Kahr Techs and no fix. Until then this is what the P9 looked like when it left.

I know the Kahr guys will figure it out.;)

It would fire in "single shot" mode. Fire one round and then gun slide would lock back. But the slidelock lever was in the down position. Tried changing slidelocks and making sure the slidelock spring was fitting in its little notch. Just received word this evening that it is on it's way back home and will be here the 28th. Hopefully there will be some communications from Kahr.
Did you ever try to make that one shot with the magazine removed?

dao Good Question, an no I didn't. Gun is coming home tomorrow, FedEX says it's on it's way. If it ever fails again I will try that.
Have they told you what they found?

No I've received no communication from them, my only notice was from Fed EX that it was on it's way. Going to call them, if no explanation comes with the weapon.

It should arrive with a work sheet with very vague description of what the gunsmith did. They don't go into a lot of detail. The phone call may or may not answer your questions as the person on the phone isn't a gunsmith.
Guess they want their repair guys repairing and not writing out detailed descriptions of what they did.
Main thing is it works as it should.

Good luck man, too nice of a gun to be a single shot.....They will figure it out but when it comes back order some new mag followers from Lakeline and eliminate possible problems with lock back, feed malfunction issues....Let us know what they find...

Howdy, Fed Ex delivered my P9 at 10:36 this am. Ran the gun out to a quiet spot in the country and rapped off 8 quick rounds in half that many seconds, no problems. Going to range tomorrow, for full test.
Letter from repair shop stated "fitted barrel and slide" and that was it. Have it set up for nightsights, confident that problem is fixed. Had to cut short the time at a shooting spot, due to guests coming for lunch.
Good sign, hope it goes just as well tomorrow when you pour some serious rounds thru it.

Thanks DAO as much as I enjoy my K9 but I really look forward to qualifying with this P9 and packing it. What little I've shot it it shows much promise!

Got to exercise the P9 yesterday, ran like a scalded ape. In other words without a stutter or a glitch. WW range ammo and Speer Gold Dots. Nice shooter, the TruGlos are installed and they are bright and quick to pick up and run. I'm loving the improvements and the fix. Saw some grinder marks on the top of the slide release and a touch of a file on the rear of the barrel hood, only clues to what Kahr did to adjust this weapon. Shoots to point of aim for windage, mileage varys on elevation, small adjustment with new sights. Groups 3" offhand at 50ft with practice ammo, right where you are lookin.
Have family coming for lunch so I will post pics later
