New Kahr owner here. First one. I cleaned it up well and shot 150 rounds of Blazer 115 fmj today. Easy shooter, accurate, a real joy. IÂ’m obviously still in the break in period. Here and there it would have a failure to go into battery. Like barely out of battery. I thought maybe I was limpwristing but it also happens when chambering first round using the slide release.
Is this something youÂ’ve seen that has worked itself out with the break in or any thoughts? IÂ’m getting it out again this week.

If it was just a few then yes, it should work itself out with some more rounds. If possible run some hotter ammo through it (maybe 124 grain hollow points) and see if it has any issues.

250 factory rounds and still doing it. Also, still happening when releasing slide release. Probably run some more through it and if it doesn’t resolve, I’ll call kahr. Happens with every mag and typically I just have to bump the back to fully chamber.

How heavily are you lubing it?
Does the slide feel like it is hanging up anywhere if you manipulate it without a magazine in place?
With it out of the slide, does a round drop freely into the barrel's chamber and the rim sit flush with the barrel hood?

Sounds like it's almost peening. Look closely at the barrel hood and see if it's forming a little bit of a ridge where it meets the slide on top. Haven't heard of this issue of late but I had one that did that.
