I always try to buy a new firearm on 9/11 every other year. Today I picked up a new P380 from Cabelas, cost me $390 net ($599 retail)*; RA93xx. This is a replacement for my LCP.
Haven't had a chance to shoot the P380 but I plan to in the next several weeks. If it is half as good as everyone has said so far, I will seriously think about selling the LCP, which I am close to pretty much hating (couldn't put more than 50 rds thru it).
This will be a great backup gun for next summer. :D
*At Cabelas thru Oct 3, the P380 is $600 plus tax ($650) and they will give you a $150 cash card for your next purchase (I think you need to ask)....ammo, holsters, cases, targets, etc. That makes the Kahr $500 and I found $110 savings in discounts and coupons. Cabelas prices are competitive, I picked up 80 boxes of AK ammo for $3.75/20. The $150 cash card will be easy to use.
