An impressive barrage went up last night, one that went on a lot longer than most Independence Day celebrations seem to go. I personally believe it was a bit of a "protest" in itself, to counter the anti-American movement in the US right now.

I could see many displays close, hear many more farther away. I did not hear any sirens, a good sign.

The reason why the flag was taken down was to appease the mob. It's akin to "I don't drive a nice car because bad guys would steal it." It's a form of surrender. The current leadership of VA is in league with the mob, using it, being used by it, in a form of "symbiotic relationship."

The mob will eventually turn on them and when the communists gain full control in the US, the mob leadership will be killed off, just as they have been in every communist take over of a nation. Lenin called them "useful idiots" for a reason.

I recall reading about this happening in USA, reading about the revolutionaries being shot by the victorious communists. Incredulous before the firing squad, it was explained to them "you fought against you own country, how can we trust you?" I wish I had saved that booklet, it was like the ones you see trying to spread the Word of God. Clearly, it was prophetic. However, I was no more than 10 years old at the time and the booklet wasn't mine.

You make a great point. What is not seen in the media is the enormous amount of pure anger and worst going on against the BLM and Northam throughout Virginia. In the meantime Virginians are buying guns ammo like crazy same as the rest of the nation. BLM will not rest. They become emboldened more and more. They just do not have the ability to understand that all this looting, burning, spitting in the FACE of Good Americans, veterans, etc. might just not end up with a happy ending for them. You can poke the bear but so much. And they are poking a mighyt big and mean Bear.
