Kind of a click bait post but the recent (10-SEP-2020) Publishers Clearinghouse commercial the last "family" video at the end of the commercial where they're presenting the 16 foot size check to the family - the elderly Black gentleman on the furthest right side of the family has a KAHR baseball hat on - the black hat with the gold KAHR lettering.
Took me three rotations of watching the commercial to verify - first time was...NNNAAAAAAHHHH he's not wearing a gun hat in a national commercial
Second time was HAHAHAHAHA someone did not proof the "advertising" on the clothing
Third time was, KAHR's rock!

People filming the commercial probably didn't know what Kahr was but I love it. Glad the gentlemen wore it, excellent choice.

I won't wear my Glock cap out and about, but I do wear my Kahr cap if I need cover... rain or cold... or for the COVID at first. The only people who know what Kahrs are, have them generally, and say so sometimes.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm........so you'll own a Glock, but not be seen in their hat? That's what the dark side will do to you.........................................

A lot of people don't want to wear anything that indicates they own guns. Decals on vehicles and such are also avoided.
I don't wear my G hat often, I do wear a CZ hat somebody here sent me a lot and a few others. The G hat is very comfy and I love the hat but it does scream gun. Ah screw it, I might start wearing it more, it's comfy and I don't care.

I love Donald Trump, but I won't wear a RED hat, let alone a MAGA Cap. I don't have gun or political stuff on my van, but it does have Vietnam stickers... small ones on the front and rear, as well as Honorary Florida Sheriffs' Association and USAA stickers.
I don't want idiots attacking my car or myself. Wifey won't let me put anything on her Subaru, but she does have a Support Our Troops license plate.
I put some gun stickers on my range case, and I wear the appropriate cap at the range for whatever I'm shooting... Glock or Kahr. I don't have a PSA cap for my PA-10. :D
I bought some Trump 2020 caps, but passed on the red one. I don't want some a$$wipe running up behind me and attacking me, though I DO watch out for that kind of stuff these days.

We proudly sport USMC stickers on our cars (my two oldest are active), but avoid increasing the risk of theft and vandalism by posting anything else.
DMV provides free ham call sign license plates, but those are easily matched online to home address.
How unfortunate that we have to think this way. I hope for a return to the small-town, community consciousness of my younger years, but I don't see that happening soon.
I'm tempted to buy one of those snazzy gold on black Kahr caps, though. It'll be like a secret, club handshake

This is just the opposite for me, I don't wear the gun hat but I would wear a Red Trump hat. I have a Trump Flag enroute to hang on my new flag pole which should arrive any day now. I'll use it like a mouse trap. Some sumbuck tries to mess with me flag, unleash hell.
It will also hold a blue lives matter flag and after Trump is rightfully reelected I'll hang my Confederate flag in it's place.

I wear a desert tan hat with greyed out American flag that I bought to support Fifi, the B-29. I wear it at the outdoor range for sun, rain, and flying brass. I’ve had too many casings in my face, on top of my head, and down my shirt to go hatless. Otherwise I’m not much of a hat guy. I like hats, I just don’t wear them much.

I put on a hat every time I go outside all my life until the last few months for some reason when I've gotten away from it. Not sure why. Raining or if I'm out in the hot sun for long I'll put one on but other than that not so much any more. I do wear a hat if I go anyplace, town or whatever.
Used to be just going to the garage I'd put a hat on. I've got some might strange habits I reckon.

I've worn a hat since shortly after childbirth. I've seen the old baby pics to prove it. I think they were trying to hide my big head. The only time I'm not wearing a hat is when sleeping, showering, or watching the TV. I've worn sun glasses for almost as long. I've worn a few firearm hats in the past. I don't think too many people really pay attention to what they may say on them. I had someone ask once, what the S & W stood for on my hat(not a gun person). When I told them, they seemed a bit taken aback, thinking it stood for something totally different and not connected to firearms. One of the main reasons why I don't wear firearm hats more often is because they are usually lousy hats. Ill fitting, cheaply constructed, non fitted, structured hats that they ask a lot of money for and they get free advertising to boot. Free advertising and a $10 dollar hat seems appropriate. Over $10, and you're pushing the limit unless it's a better quality hat. I'm very particular about the hats that I'll wear. Usually, they are cotton, non structured, buckled, colored baseball style hats. They can be had for about 7 to 8 dollars a piece, can be washed but usually tossed. No writing. The nice quality non structured fitted baseball style hats usually start at about $20 and up.................... Hats help keep the sun out of your eyes, they keep the rain out of your eyes and off of your head, they help keep you safer from low flying birds, they keep your hair from being powder burned, they keep your scalp from being sun burned, they keep your head warm in the cold, they keep your hair in place in windy conditions, and lastly, they are an advertising platform. It seems that the only people who notice firearm hats are other firearm enthusiasts, and the non gunners don't have a clue. Seems like kind of a lousy advertising platform, now that I think about it more. IMHO, their hats should either be cheaper, or charge what you charge but sell a nicer quality hat. I've had a few firearm hats in the past in that $25-35 range and they were nice hats. Anything less than that price range and they are the run of the mill hats.........................................

I don't wear hats all of the time, but when I do they are free baseball hats from sailboat races with rum advertising. I never buy any baseball style hats and have about ten spares in the closet. My sailing hat I had to buy. Mesh crown and wide brim all around. I don't like to get my ears sunburned. I don't like the idea of paying to advertise anyone's product.

Sometimes I wear a hat to keep from getting sunburn on my bald spot, but then my head gets hot. I like full brimmed hats, I just don’t seem to wear them much. I have a S&W baseball cap that was on clearance at the LGS for five bucks, but it’s kinda crappy quality.

Most folks won't recognize gun hats, but EVERYONE knows what Glocks are. They are in every movie and in the news a lot. I only wear caps or hats when needed, but I will wear a Trump cap to a gun show, but I haven't been to one since last year, though I wouldn't mind selling some ammo at one now. They were all cancelled for a while and I'm not sure what they are like now. There's one next weekend here, but I don't think I'll go. I don't need anything and think it might be too crowded with patrons.

We haven't had gun shows for several months and doubt there will be any rest of the year. I enjoy wandering them, they give me the wants of course but usually don't have the funds. Seems whenever I have a pile of loot and go, I can't find anything I want to part with the loot for. I think it's some sort of conspiracy.

I know... next weekend at the Fairgrounds. I don't like the managers of that one and stopped selling at that one, but I just wonder how it will be there. The price is $10, up from $9, but they used to give a $1 discount to military.
I may go and take my 9mm defense ammo and sell it out of my wheeled "briefcase" inside. I have about half a case each of Speer 124-gr +P short barrel Gold Dots and some other excess defense ammo. The case or so of 9mm FMJ that I have, I paid about $360 for, but my son may be buying a Glock 43 for his wife and I'm kind of holding 9mm back for him. It's priced at $30 to $60 a box online and he has paid that for his .40 S&W. I sent him all that I didn't want for what I was asking over a year ago... 1/2 to 1/4 of what he was paying online!
Really, though, I probably won't go. I'm sure not going to pay $95 a table to sell. Wifey won't go.
