I interesting about PM9 External-Safety and Loaded Chamber Indicator (as attached picture) but i can not find this model on the official Kahr webpage. I found that https://ibb.co/bNbhhPg https://ibb.co/fpMLPX1the one i interested is about ten years. This one is discontinued??

Still available, just got this off the Kahr website.

On the one I have the safety is so gritty and difficult to move it is functionally useless! I have to move the gun enough to position my thumb to really bear down on it to disengage it.

Looking at the size and position of that safety, I would image it would be very difficult to work. Certainly out of the way so it wouldn't catch on anything, but it looks like it would be well behind your thumb knuckle. How would you activate it?

I think you only need to activate it in California and maybe a few other socialist states.

Bingo! They require you to have it, they don't control if you actually use it. I would never turn it on myself.
