I know there's a panic, but dang! I'll bet it won't sell, though. Kahr doesn't show a 9093N, just a 9093NA for $1060 MSRP. Sure is a great time to be an arms dealer.

Doubt it will sell at that price either. Sometimes gunbroker is a lot like a gunshow, the sellers are praying on the unknowing and folks reckless with their money. The good thing about gunbroker is you can do a lot of comparison shopping and see highs and lows for those that want to research a bit.
Like everything else you have to watch for shipping cost, CC fee's and whatever else some try to sneak in on ya.
I go there a lot.

That's a whole lot of money.

Wow... I thought I was paying a premium in 2019 when I asked my local shop to track down a new T40 with night sights and payed full MSRP ($900 at the time).

Amost certainly not going to sell. Kahrs aren't moving very well right now on GB anyway, asking well above MSRP for one is nearly guaranteeing it won't get bought.

Somebody is swinging for the fences. Kahr is in a position to be sitting pretty. If Biden manages to push a magazine capacity ban through---and the ridiculous magazine tax---Kahr is a company which sells mostly pistols which are under the capacity limit.

Kind of like when the company started.

Who in their right mind is going to report they have hi cap mags and agree to pay the 200 per mag robbery fee.

Think it's time to go rogue and maybe even cross the line to become outlaws.

Will the $200 be refunded when they confiscate all the mags on the registry?

I suspect that gun manufacturers are already designing lower capacity mags to sell to people who already own their guns.

I suspect they are pounding out high cap mags too in order to satisfy all the folks that will grab them before Kamala goes to work. I know before the sink hole I ordered 10 30rd pmags, it was a terrible loss.

I'm surprised the prices haven't gone way up like everything else unless they are being cautious and wanting to sell what they have. The ones I got were after all this **** happened and they were still at the before **** happened price.

Awfully sad about that sink hole. Course with the rifle gone to the center of the earth guess I don't need the mags. Well back to sharpening my spear.

New handle for me "Spear Chukkar".

One reason why I've always gotten 10rd mags for every hi-cap gun I've owned. Of course the way things are going there may not be many of us who actually have more than 10rds of ammo to put in them.

Who’s going to pull you over and say, “Hey, you! Drop that mag and show me the capacity!”?

Will there be Range Snitches who listen for your eleventh shot, and pounce?

I doubt that, but if you're ever found to be in violation it could be the end of your days of carrying concealed legally. As well as loss of the gun or guns. I guess it will all depend on what level of a crime it would become, ie felony vs. misdemeanor and which type of either.

I'm seriously pondering not renewing my CPL. It no longer is supported by instant checks so we have to wait till the county has the sweet time to approve a gun purchase. I've never been asked during a traffic stop to see it or had an inquiry as to weather I'm carrying a firearm or not.

Both mine and the wife's are due for renewal in May I think. A coworker told me she didn't think the city could renew it. I live in the county but have the same city address and the state doesn't check that close. The chief is a good buddy and I'm sure he would do it. She told me we can now do it on line up to 90 days in advance I think but I'm not sure I'll even bother.

Just call me outlaw Josey Wales.

I've kept my motorcycle endorsement since '78, even when I didn't currently own a bike. It has saved me from having to retest more than once when I did get back in the saddle. I'll hang onto my CPL just to make sure any new laws won't require a whole lot of hassle to get another one. Of course I don't intend to stop carrying until I'm no longer sharp-minded enough to do so. At that point I'll let mine lapse.

It's not even an Elite!

No way I'd pay even close to that, and I really like Kahrs.

Folks, all you need to do is Google H.R.5717.....It’s been in congress for a while but the Dems didn’t push it because the Republicans had the majority in the Senate and they knew it would never pass but, now that the dark side is in control it will become law very soon and you can bet the farm on that one....There’s a new Sheriff in town and he ain’t one of us......Go buy everything you can while you can because time is short....Welcome to the new USSA.....

I tried to keep my motorcycle endorsement and drove for a year or more before they told me I had to retest (car) since I had to use hand controls etc. When we did the license they said they'd remove the motorcycle endorsement, I asked them not too but they said I'd never ride a motorcycle anyhow. They eventually won out and took it off. Haven't rode a motorcycle so guess I'm not out anything. Good point on the keeping the CPL although if they make new laws I'm sure they'll just cancel them out anyhow.

I plan to carry even when my mind is dull which some already believe is here.

LOL, I guess that makes two of us who aren't the sharpest tools in the shed as we once may have been Colonel.
I can see them cancelling out all existing permits and/or requiring training when renewing one. Not to infringe mind you but rather to make sure everyone is safe. Our government will not rest until we're all defenseless. Or at least the law-abiding amongst us.
Not that your old endorsement would matter but I wonder if anyone has ever put hand controls on a trike? Which of course requires a different endorsement.

Bawanna
01-21-2021, 11:04 AM
Oh sure, they have rigged trikes for hand controls. I've even seen some with like a box on the back you roll into and you just sit in the wheelchair. Long handle bars, doesn't look like it would be a comfy ride to me.
The backwards trikes, with two wheels in the front would be pretty easy. Just have to move the brake up to the handle bars. They are like automatic so no shifting except in and out of go. I looked at those years ago.

Guess at this point I don't mind a windshield, heater and air conditioning, rarely even roll the windows down.

I hear that. I still ride but I'm a fair weather rider for sure. I've also nixed the idea of getting and/or restoring a classic car because I like my creature comforts too much and don't want to do away with them.

I still have a major hankering for a classic old pickup truck, maybe a Studebaker, something out of the norm. Make it super nice and driveable. Kind of a nice day cruiser.

Know a fella that has a 38 Plymouth body on a 2000 Ford Courier pickup chassis, it is so super cool. All the modern stuff in a classic old car. Tried to talk him out of it but while he's done several others, this one is his baby. He drives it all the time. Hit a deer with the thing and barely dented a fender, a new car probably would have been totaled.

dao

Yeah that would be the best of both worlds. And with brakes that actually work! Ever thought about commissioning him to either help you do one, or to do one for you outright?

That K9 has not moved, still sitting there.

Bawanna

Cost would be far beyond my means. He's getting up there in years. I think he still tinkers but doubt he does whole projects. Buying one outright would be the only way for me. Maybe someday if there are enough days.

My dream ride would be a rebuilt short bed step side 55 Chevy pickup with a modern LS engine...Ain’t nothing better than an old hot rod pickup....I did see a show on the MotorTrend channel where they found a nice rust free 66 Ford F100 long bed fleet side and removed the cab and bed from the original factory frame and installed it on a late model Ford Crown Vic Police car frame and drivetrain which didn’t look like it took that many mods to make it fit and the end result was a nice, almost stock looking, daily driver pickup with a Police Interceptor engine, rack and pinion steering and 4 wheel disc brakes and they spent less than 10 grand to do it....They called it the “Crown Hick”

I live in Kalamazoo, MI. Every year in September we have the "Street Rod Nationals North. For about a week our city is literally crawling with the kind of machines you guys are talking about. Many of them with For Sale signs. You can see some amazing pieces of automotive art. Some examples here...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLdPQl3_5wg
