I've had my new CW9 to Ben Avery twice now with 200 trouble free rounds through it. This is one sweet pistol. My only issue was that the supplied magazine would not drop free. After reading other post I figured this is just how it is...until I received my two ordered magazines. Ok, first new one in and seems about like the supplied magazine, sticks after dropping about an inch. Pop in the last one and hit the release and that baby flys out of there - like it sure on a carry weapon! This is not a "frame design change", the magazines must have some variation. Sure enough the last magazine is .0006 inch narrower. That's about the thickest of piece of paper. I figure that if the magazines are hanging on the frame and not the release then this should be easy to clean up. I remove the magazine release and slide and the two thicker magazines still stick when I lightly push from the top of the frame. With a flashlight I can now can see that they are rubbing on the raised "rails" near the top of the grip frame. I take the narrow magazine and tape thin strips of 400 grip paper across the top. A couple of drops of oil in the magazine well and I carefully insert my "sanding" magazine. I can feel it drag toward the top but a couple of strokes and the tightness is gone. I try the other magazines and they now move with no resistance. Wow, this took all of 10 seconds. I clean up the frame, reinstall the release and slide and now all three magazines drop with authority. Not only do they drop free but when inserting, there is just the resistance you expect from the tension of the mag release. What a difference this make.
