As they mention it's actually priceless especially with all the provenance, factory letter and the rig to go with it.

After becoming a sports writer he was known to buy used guns and sell them as the one he used in Dodge City. This one is the real deal though.

Correct.
Bat was in Denver in 1888 and didn’t move to NYC for his sportswriter job until 1902.
