Constitutional Carry has finally passed the Legislature’s House and the bill has moved to the Senate. Governor Abbott has said he will sign the bill if & when it reaches his desk.

I have no desire to cross the state line, for that matter even the county line, but I'll still keep my CHL (now LTC) current. I am glad to see our progress though.

With Desantis as our gov, I’m surprised we are not seeing this here in Florida. Hope it happens before he moves out of office.

I have no problem with the idea, its just that if the government thinks it can giveth, then down the road if thing change, they think they have the power to taketh away!
Shall not be infringed seems pretty clear to me.

Well. I'd be happy to oblige Bawanna but I don't think your system will allow me to do that yet, and if it does, I guess I don't understand the procedure. Not being a tech whiz, anything beyond dragging the image from my desk top seems to be beyond my capabilities here. Although I must say, I have been successful at every other sight I have been a party to, not more than a handful I admit, but successful none the less.

You should be able to do that like the other places after 5 more post. I use and outside photo deal postimage which is easier for me for some reason, I'm certainly no tech wizard by a long shot.

The bill may not pass in the Texas Senate - there is one RINO republicrat traitor who seems to be negative.
That guy’s office is getting swamped with messages & emails promising to primary him in the next election if he fails to vote for freedom.
One person I read even said he’d vote for a democrat challenger!

The CC bill passed the Senate along party lines and is being sent back to the House for concurrence before going to Governor Abbott’s desk for his promised signature.

All they have to do is look at social media.

Using private firms is nothing new to government to get around the law. Bush used Blackwater to Police New Orleans during Katrina. Blackwater did not need warrant to kick down doors and search for "what ever". It also shielded the government from accountability.

Here is a quote...
In an hourlong conversation with four Blackwater men, they characterized their work in New Orleans as "securing neighborhoods" and "confronting criminals." They all carried automatic assault weapons and had guns strapped to their legs. Their flak jackets were covered with pouches for extra ammunition.
When asked what authority they were operating under, one guy said, "We're on contract with the Department of Homeland Security." Then, pointing to one of his comrades, he said, "He was even deputized by the governor of the state of Louisiana. We can make arrests and use lethal force if we deem it necessary." The man then held up the gold Louisiana law enforcement badge he wore around his neck. Blackwater spokesperson Anne Duke also said the company has a letter from Louisiana officials authorizing its forces to carry loaded weapons.
"This vigilantism demonstrates the utter breakdown of the government," says Michael Ratner, president of the Center for Constitutional Rights. "These private security forces have behaved brutally, with impunity, in Iraq. To have them now on the streets of New Orleans is frightening and possibly illegal."

I am totally against Private Security firms like Blackwater etc. However, with the way the Country is moving, defunding police etc. It may become a necessary evil to destroy the cancer taking over America. I say turn em loose on BLM and Antifa.

Except I don't want to get crossed up in the crossfire. I am about rules and not forgetting about our constitution. Blackwater etc. only cares about the money and not the incidentals of shooting bystanders.
Antifa and blm may say turn 'em loose on all. Highest bidder wins! We don't want that.

And no one wants to see their business burned to the ground. Destroyed or looted. 2 billion dollars and 180 violent protest of terror damage across the US in 2020 alone. Enough is Enough! Either we find a way to put them down or else we just lay down and then them run the Country. Violence is escalating more each and every day. St. Louis has a 54% increase. A new Mayor wants to shut down prisons, cops are targeted. They just began to shoot at National Guard. Civilized people and civilized society does not condone any of this. And now they making hero's out of drug infested criminals.
At what point do we say no more? if the Gov. is not going to step up to the plate to stop this terror across the US, then who do you suggest be used to stop it?

The good people need to take a stand. Hiring mercenaries is not a good idea. BOTH SIDES could hire them, talk about anarchy. Elections have consequences...not enough people get involved and then sit back and complain about the results of whom was elected. For example in Minneapolis they elected a clown whom campaigned riding a unicorn bicycle with a rainbow on it :cheer2: and now the people are shocked at lack of leadership. The special interest and fruit cakes VOTE, we all need to vote! Hold the clowns responsible and kick them out of office.
Areas of anarchy are direct result of bad government!

Lol, no elections are not going to change a thing. The Terrorist could care less who is elected. They have learned they can get what they want by Violence. It is working for them. If Al- Qaeda for example came into the US and started Torching our Cities, monuments etc. like BLM what would we do? It would destroy them. And now Police are quitting all across the Country, the border is a mess. A new power to the Cartels. The mess now will create more gangs more violence and we are doing nothing. The world is a mess and the US looks weak all across the Globe now. Some places now in the US look like a War Zone and we have done nothing. And BLM is not bashful about telling all of us that they are in charge. AT LEAST THE SCUM BAG BELOW WAS HONEST!

I don't totally agree that elections don't matter. Get a fella like Trump back in who obviously isn't a commy, liberal dude and let him create consequences for inappropriate actions. Such as Marine with live ammo responding to unrest. Certainly try to take control as peacefully as possible with consequences, but for folks burning police cars or tearing up stores etc, stop now or die. And make it happen.
In my area we have none of this BS, the people still love the cops and there is no violence. A few months back they had a protest parade but just marched down the street, never touched anything. I think they just wanted a parade.
Next town over BLM tried to do what they do and a whole pile of citizens joined up with the sheriff's office and lined the sidewalks. They drove through and decided their plan wasn't a good one.

Well if you elect liberal socialists, they won't back the police and therefore the police wont do their job. So far Minneapolis has lost about 300 cops. If there was an elected body in that city with common sense this wouldn't of happened. The police would of stood up to the mob! Now the city wants to build a Floyd monument [here is the elected leadership reflecting the will of the voters who put them in office]. There used to be a day when the police would use water cannons to put the mob in their place and their leadership had their back. After a good soaking they didn't act up again.
ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES Look at the direction the country is heading now. ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES

Agreed. Trump had the right idea in draining the swamp. Have to clean out the whole bunch and start fresh. Don't even have to be all Republicans, just new blood who wants to play government the way it was intended and not as a personal money making ponzi scheme. If you leave any of the old, they will teach the new how to get rich.

Ron DeSantis, Run boy run, this country is depending on you......We need leadership, not more of Obama’s 3rd term America last agenda and sleepy old Uncle Joe’s crazy economic disaster programs......Socialism does not work, never has, never will and always ends in an economic smoking hole where everyone suffers.......

David Chipman, Biden’s nominee to head the ATF, apparently has lied to the Senate in his confirmation hearings.
https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/did-david-chipman-lose-his-duty-gun-when-he-worked-at-the-atf/
It has been alleged that he mishandled his duty weapon while he was an ATF agent by leaving it in his car (against their rules) and it was stolen. He has denied the allegation when asked by republican senators about it and refuses to turn over his service record. What is he hiding?
