NEW Diagnostic Computer


One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Jack says to Mike behind him, "My elbow hurts terribly. I guess I better see a doctor."

"Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money," Mike replies. "There's a diagnostic computer at the corner drugstore. Just give it a urine sample and the computer will tell you what's wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and costs ten dollars...a heck of a lot cheaper than a doctor."

So Jack collects a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to the drugstore.
He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the urine sample. He pours the sample into a funnel and waits. Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout: You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity. It will improve in two weeks.


That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Jack began wondering if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, scraped some oil off the driveway and masturbated into the mixture for good measure.


Jack hurries back to the drugstore, eager to check the results. He deposits ten dollars, pours in his concoction, and awaits the results.


The computer prints the following:

1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener.
2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo.
3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab.
4. Your wife is pregnant...twin girls. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer.

Flipping channels I ran into an episode of “Combat” with Vic Morrow as Sarge.....When we were kids we never missed an episode and we played army the next afternoon in the woods after school with real toy guns, imagine that.....It was a much simpler time but we sure had fun and there weren’t any Krauts left in the neighborhood when we had to go in for supper......

We watched that show in 1967/1968 at Da Nang Air Base. My MASH-like tent, the "Command Hut" I called it, had a tin roof, and two voltage regulators... one for a small black and white TV, the other for the refrigerator. Combat! was one of our favorite shows. I was our project NCO for two TDY's just before the end of January. I got there just in time for the Têt Offensive. I sent my replacement home and stayed for his TDY. I had made SSGT(E-5) January 1 and this was my first job as an NCO... fun times! War movies on TV and the real thing all around us. I was 21.

I found this picture online when I searched for my unit. This was just after we got out of the bunkers on Têt morning. An A-1E was strafing from behind us out into the field and the enemy running to the East just south of us. Then we watched him bomb them, followed by gunships rocketing them! We watched the war all day and into the night when an AC-47 Spooky really lit them up with the mini-guns. Beautiful sight at night... like a waterfall with splashes from the ricochets!

My Project Officer, a 1st LT., brought me the M-16 and 7 mags to augment our tent section on the S.E. perimeter fence the evening before. I did have an S&W .38, too. I didn't get to shoot either... and had NEVER shot an M-16... qualified with the M-1 Carbine in 1964 at Basic Training. We were told by the Lt. that we were expected to be attacked that night. I went to a Security Police station nearby and begged some ammo for our crews .38's. They gave me 2 boxes, but when I tried that another time, they acted like I was crazy. :D It's different during or expecting action, I guess!

That's my bed to the left... pretty close to the inner of two chained-link fences. The crews added sandbags to the tents' perimeters shortly after that. We did have some bullets splashing around outside and hitting the tents some.

Before I had a drivers license I lived with my grandmother who bought a brand new ugly a$$ green 2 door 66 Rambler Rebel with bucket seats and a 327 CI 4 barrel V8 engine which I used to go for joy rides late at night after she went to bed.....I never got to make out in it but I did find out that the AMC 327 motor would boil the rubber right off the back tires and make a beautiful smoke show.....She never could figure out why the back tires kept wearing out so fast and I never said nothing........I’ll probably go to Hell for what I did to that car

Awesome. I had a 1980 Honda Civic Hatchback that if you pulled off the head rest the seats would lay back JUST LIKE THAT. Man, that just brought back some memories.

That's the nice thing about this lake, it's big enough with lots of coves so the skiers and jet ski's etc can play but one can get away and not be bothered. Not always but most of the time.
We usually have a big bass fry, I think it's a bit early for the bass fishing to be good but hope so. I know the trout has been good with some nice big ones being caught.
The fish fry will be whenever you show up even if I have to go to town and buy fish.

I need some tat's. Didn't realize we had similar stashes. Actually I got a goatee now. Wonder of wonder, the folks here at the resort built us a brand new cabin. So much nicer for dealing with the wheelchair. Old one was very challenging, new one although same size is laid out so much better, I can get in the shower and the bathroom is away from the front door where I can even close the door. I'm kind of shy don't cha know.
Haven't fished yet, kind of burned from the 7 hour drive getting here and the gun shops I hit on the way didn't have much to get excited about. Range time soon, been a long time since I pulled a trigger.

Karma can be a good thing sometimes....Wednesday Democrat Atlanta City Councilman Antonio Brown who is running for Mayor and voted to defund Atlanta Police by 73 million dollars went to S.W. Atlanta AKA “The Hood” to speak with local community organizers about developing affordable housing in the area which is a total war zone of crime, drugs and daily shootings and in reality should be bulldozed and burned but while Councilman Brown was talking with the locals feeding them BS trying to drum up votes, 4 male children aged 9 through 13 saw an opportunity and jumped in his Mercedes Benz GLE 450 SUV with the key fob inside and took off.....Mr Brown called 911 to report the crime but was on hold over 5 minutes to get an operator....Unfortunately neither the Mercedes or the children have been seen since.....Councilman Brown in a statement today said if they are identified and arrested he will not be pressing charges because it would be sending the wrong message........Go figure out Democrats......:der:

Believe it or not I have seen this. The black guy (one of my coworkers) wore a rebel flag bandanna and listened to country music and Lynyrd Skynyrd and was a Star Trek fan, a great guy, and a computer programming genius. The white guy was a liberal socialist mediocre employee, and that was in Huntsville, AL, 1995, working for a high tech government contractor. Oh, and there was a trans-gender white dude who after he got his own private bathroom andmade the change to a “she”, decided “she” was a lesbian, then moved to Cali to work for Intel I believe it was.

Not long after that I found a new job and moved.

You want to talk about messed up, last week on Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show there was a guy who said that from birth he knew that he was a female with the wrong God given parts so as a young adult decided to have sexual reassignment surgery and become a female and they did a fantastic job, after becoming a female she looked really good but after a while she figured out that she was really supposed to be a he and went through a double mastectomy and testosterone treatments to get back to a male, albeit without some necessary equipment but to what he thought was the correct gender that he/she was supposed to be......There must be some really good money in this therapy game....
