A nice surprise for our Wed night RSO crew. The airport cops stopped buy with a good size box of confiscated magazines and another of ammo for a few of us to sort through and bring home.. I suspect they already pulled all the handgun rounds as the box contained a variety of shotgun shells and assorted rifle calibers but the box of mags was another story.
Three of us sorted through that like a 14 year old teenager with his first Playboy.
Lucky for me neither of my two co-workers owned a P365 so I quickly pulled out three ten round and two twelve rounders.
We each took what fit our personal guns and those of a couple of guys that were not there, and will save the remaining twenty of thirty leftovers for known customers and their specific guns.

RSO is "range safety officer'?
Airport cops get this stuff from tsa?
Are the firearms destroyed?
You're pretty lucky!

1. Yes
2. Probably
3. I don't know.
4. Right you are.
About five years ago I had a customer stop by the range with a very large box of inherited supplies. Foremost was a lot of rifle powders and at least 5000 LRP's and SRP's. I don't load rifle rounds but we sure found those that were happy with a lifetime supply.
Shortly after that, another customer who had just entered hospice called me over and gave me all his .22 ammo (about 6000 rounds). We keep that around for customers that bring in their girlfriend to shoot her first handgun which is usually a .357 magnum. We get her aside and put a Ruger MKIII in her hand and in ten minutes she buries her friend with her accuracy.
