Hey everyone!

I just picked up a new CW9 for my EDC. I have been carrying an XD9SC and wanted something even smaller for tshirt and shorts weather. I currently carry the XD in an MTAC holster from Comp-tac. I was thinking of adding the Galco USA holster and carrying the CW9 in it, but MTAC makes a sleeve for the Kahr.

Does anyone have experience with either? Would you recommend either to a friend? Concerns? Positives?

I like how the MTAC feels with my XD, but I will mainly be tucking in a shirt which is possible with it, but the Galco has an under style J clip which hides even more.

thanks
Joe

The MTAC is a god design.

The Galco USA is a nice small holster. Built well and sturdy.

I personally like the MTAC or a variant of the type. I carry a CW all the time and shorts and T shirts to in this. (http://www.concealedtechnology.com/) It works very nicely!

Not sure if you've looked at CrossBreed holsters or not, but I prefer them over the M-Tac. I found re-holstering more difficult with the M-Tac as the Kydex would crush under the pressure of my belt. CrossBreed holsters do not have this problem.

Might want to loosen up your belt a little bit. I've never had that issue. M-Tac's are great holsters.

Loosening my belt doesn't make the Kydex stronger on the M-Tac. :behindsofa:

the MTAC is a much better holster then the crossbreed. Far superior molding and retention. and not that it matters, but aesthetically they look much better too.
