Today it took 85 automobiles and support vehicles to transport President Mumbles from his hotel to the Glasgow Scotland Climate Summit which seems to me could be a big part of the problem and if they ever hold this event again in Glasgow they are going to have to expand the airport because they ran out of VP private jet parking area on the tarmac from all the concerned attendees….…Maybe the climate change morons should be required to swim over and then ride bicycles to these meetings if they are really serious about a problem that doesn’t exist……..

I was glad to hear him say when he was in college the thing that pissed him off most was the whiny woke students that just came out of mommas basement talking about how they were so made disadvantaged by the system. An intolerance for woke snowflakes has been one of the many rewards that my two oldest have earned from military service.

Agree with Wynn and it's an honor to be selected to participate in Fleet Week. She's a fine looking Marine. My son got to participate as one of the stops was Seattle which is close to home and he knew the area. Got to meet a couple of his buddies. Both good guys.
He thought riding the boat up from California would be gravy duty but alas it was not the case. Had them working in the galley, serving Navy officers and mostly washing dishes.

That's a fine idea. Do it right away while she's active. With the stuff they got now days I think they can take a picture and make it look like a painting. A guy did a charcoal drawing of me (pretty big) holding a khukri and dept logo in back ground, really cool. I don't know if I can still find his contact or if he even does it anymore. Guess he was an art teacher and he does something for awhile, then moves onto something else.

Probably a friction reducing nano coating. My Anderson AR has a brown nano coating on the upper receiver and bolt carrier group. No lube and the carbon washes off with dish soap. Maybe a high teck racing engine?

Speaking of distractions, last night at 5:14 am I was in a great deep sleep and in the middle of one of the best dreams I’ve ever had…..All I can say is she was a buxom blond beauty that was in my bed, smelled like honey and was ready to party and so was I but when things were really starting to happen my phone started making this horrible siren noise which immediately ended my fun time and almost gave me a stroke…..Now I don’t know how many of those little blue pills it would take to get a fellow to the point I was at but I do know how fast a screaming phone will make it go away……I stumbled to find my stupid phone and it was an amber alert that some moron left their one year old asleep in a SUV with the keys in at 1:30 am while unloading groceries at their apartment and guess what happened, some punk jumped in the car and took off with the car and the kid……..I hope when they find the SOB in addition to auto theft and kidnapping they charge him with forking up an old mans best dream ever!

I loved those bubble gum cigars too. Could make a big ol' sloppy mess with those for a couple or 3 pennies. I particularly liked the black licorice cigars and pipes with the little red round candies on the end to look like embers. That was 60 yrs ago and black licorice is still one of my favorite flavors.

I really never developed the taste for licorice, except when I was home brewing beer several years ago. I always used a healthy dose of imported licorice stick in the batch when brewing my "Hail to the First First Chief" Porter. (For what it's worth, our first first chief, George Washington, also brewed his share of beer)

Twizzler-like licorice, and black licorice, along with gummi-bears have contributed more to my downfall from good health than anything else I think. Of course potato chips and a love of bread also played a role. When I was a kid we used to scour the streets in search of pop bottles, 2 cents for the little ones and 5 cents for the big ones. I ate a LOT of penny candy growing up. Don't remember black licorice cigars though. Guess I was deprived?

I want one too but with drag slicks and maybe nitrous, just because you can……..The first street bike I ever owned was a 1976 Kawasaki KZ 900 and nothing motorized has ever scared me like that motorcycle…..Being 18 years old at the time I was stupid enough to see how fast it really was and to this day I have Sylvester Stallone droopy eyelids because at 110 mph the wind will get under them and they will peel right back over your forehead……I owned the KZ for about a year then got married and the new boss didn’t care much for motorcycles so it got sold and turned into a living room sofa set with a love seat which was probably a good thing or else I would likely not be here to type this…….I really miss that bike sometimes and those carefree wild crazy days of youth when you were indestructible and didn’t give a chit because you were going to live forever…..

My 2 wheel life started in 68 with a 3hp Briggs mini bike which soon had to be replaced with a much more powerful 5 hp Briggs motor with a straight pipe which would pull a wheelie…..Next up was a Honda Trail 70 which was indestructible but nowhere near fast enough……Soon after my partner in crime neighbor got a Yamaha YZ 125 which was really fast and I had no answer for with the Trail 70 I convinced my grandmother that the 70 wasn’t safe and I might get hurt with such small tires and such and I needed a more correct size machine and next thing you know just to be safe I’m riding a Suzuki TM125 which was a beast of a motocross motorcycle at the time and unbelievably fast, it also might explain my several misshapen digits and weird looking left arm along with the ugly 9 inch scar on my right arm but damn if we didn’t have fun…..

I rode the heck out of a Trail 70 too, had a Trail 90, one of those step thru's with the bigger wheels. Like the 70 better.
Had a 100 Hodaka, a 100 Honda 4 stroke and for a bit a 370 Suzuki. 500 Yamaha on the street for awhile.

I flat tracked my Hodaka for several seasons, it wasn't a Combat Wombat, had the chrome tank that was indestructible. Then switched to the honda, probably only part of a season before we quit racing.

I went to the grocery store yesterday and while I was pushing my cart to the truck I came across an old lady sobbing in the parking lot so I said to her, Ma’am what is wrong and can I help you? She said she had lost two hundred dollars cash in the store and couldn’t pay for her groceries so feeling sorry for her I gave her a 50 dollar bill to help her out…..She was so very nice and thanked me profusely for helping her out in her embarrassing situation….Hey I figured that since I had just found $200.00 cash in the produce section then I should help her out you know, when the Good Lord gives you a gift you should always help out your fellow man…….Am I right!

Does it seem odd that the National Guard has been called out in case race riots break out again because a jury finds a young man innocent of any crime for using a firearm to defend himself against an angry mob that was trying to kill him in a riot the media lied about calling burning cars and businesses a peaceful protest all of which happened because of media lies about the arrest of a young black criminal named Jacob Blake who fought the Police and after being tased several times would still not comply and continued to fight arrest then breaking away and trying to reach into his car for a knife and who unfortunately had to be shot by an officer who just wanted to go home that evening……….Is this still America?

The good news, the bad news and the scary news…….The good news is today a jury in Kenosha was brave enough to look at the facts and in the end found Kyle Rittenhouse innocent on all counts…..This proves the system still works and it is in fact better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6……….. Mr. Rittenhouse was very lucky that the jury had very high resolution drone video from the FBI that clearly showed that his life was in danger from a rioting mob and that he used his 2nd amendment right to use a firearm to protect himself from great bodily harm or death……Another interesting question is why was there an FBI drone team there that followed Rittenhouse’s every movement from the time he arrived until the shootings happened? Makes you wonder doesn’t it but it sure helped the jury to have a clear view of what really happened and to make a correct decision………. I hope Kyle Rittenhouse can recover and learn from this and I wish him well…..

The bad news, Today President Cobweb had his physical exam and they found him to be in good health for a man his age…..They did a full brain scan and found absolutely nothing there but during his colonoscopy they did find Obama’s right forearm and hand but decided to leave it because it seemed to be working just fine…..

The scary news, for the 85 minutes President Fuzzy was under the juice for his colonoscopy, VP Cackles was actually the Commander in Chief……Thank God her nails were still wet and she couldn’t play with the football…….

For me it was around 6-8 years old, and it was the place we lived that I recall fondly, more than the time period. Unfortunately, my memories of St. Louis in about 1970 are missing most of the reality of the place. It's great to be a kid, only seeing what you want to see.

For myself like JohnR it was 6-8,9 years old….My dad owned a Pure station and hanging around there all the time I learned to love cars, tools and working on things….In 63-67 there were so many cool cars and times were so much simpler……My best friend at the time was Johnny Watts who’s dad owned the transmission shop up the street and we did everything together, played baseball, built forts, fished in the pond behind his house and his mother was the best cook on the planet and she was always feeding us all kinds of great stuff…..Funny thing is neither one of us noticed that Johnny was black and I was white, I mean we knew but it didn’t matter because we were best friends and just did all the fun stuff kids did back then…….I think about Johnny sometimes and wish I could go back in time and do all those things again……

Seems the more they try to address racial equality, the worse it gets. Obamy did more to create racisim than anybody I've ever heard of. The TV what little I watch is getting more and more VFW (very few whites) especially in commercials.
