So I finally sold my PM45 (good gun, just didn't have a use for it anymore) and picked up a brand new P380 at the gun show today. Just got it home and cleaned it good and polished the feed ramp. haven't had a chance to make it to the range yet, but looking forward to it. Should be a good occasional alternate to my EDC PM9.

You'll love shooting it. I have a P380 and a Keltec P3AT and the Kahr is WAAAAAAY more fun to shoot. First time out I quit shooting it when I ran through the 200 rounds I brought to the range.
It's just an awesome little gun and polishing the ramp is a GREAT way to start it on it's road to "break-in"-done that to ALL of my auto pistols.

Well made it to the range over the weekend but this malware crap stopped me from reporting in until now. Put 50 rounds through it, the first 2 rounds out of the first 2 mags and the second round out of the 3rd mag caused the slide to lock back, but after that it functioned flawlessly until round 47 when it stovepiped. Overall not as bad as some first time reports I've heard. Hopefully the slide locking thing was just because it wasn't broken in and the stovepipe was probably because the gun was filthy (shooting factory reloads). Amazingly I did manage to hit what I was shooting at at 25 yards with a .380. Can't wait to get back and put some more rounds through it.
I was warned that shooting such a little pistol was harsh by my cousin (he has a LCP), but I didn't think it was bad at all.

the P380 shoots much nicer than the kel tec 380 or my Ruger lcp, certainly it is 5X more accurate than either also. I cannot hit anythhing with the ruger lcp and enver could hit anything with the kel tecs either. My P380 for me outshoots my PM9 and for the life of me I cannot figure that out either. I think pender1, your P380 will smooth out in a few hundred rounds , give it and you time to mate up correctly and you will certainly love that gun for accuracy and comfort. Just not alot to hold on to as u well know.
I am hopeing you used the propper prepping of your new kahr thread over on the kahr tech section... to help get you going .
